Julissa Angelica Genrich Thaler, 28, was arrested in Mound, Minnesota charged with murdering her 6-year-old son Eli Hart on May 20, 2022.
Julissa was driving a suspicious car with one of the front tires missing. Another driver called police to report the suspicious vehicle. Cops responded to the area and conducted a traffic stop on Julissa.
Officers saw blood and brain matter in Julissa’s hair. Cops also saw a shotgun shell in the vehicle along with a bullet hole in the back seat. The back window was broken out too.
Cops searched the car trunk and made a gruesome discovery; Eli was found in the trunk dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Julissa was arrested and charged with murder.
Julissa has a history of mental health issues, in fact she was hospitalized after having paranoid delusions and hearing voices in 2021. Julissa and Eli’s father were in a bitter custody dispute over Eli.
