On May 22, 2021, shortly after 3:00 a.m., 2 people died in a car crash on West Blvd. Charlotte, NC. The victims are Antonio Bryant, 40, and Chevelle Jeter, 56.
A Honda vehicle was traveling on West Boulevard at a high rate of speed, and as it entered the curve, the vehicle began to slide sideways.
The vehicle then struck the curb and multiple trees in the wood line before coming to a stop. Toxicology results for the driver are pending.
Antonio and Chevelle were pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics.
The Major Crash Investigation Unit, DWI Task Force, Motorcycle Unit, and Crime Scene Search Unit responded to conduct the investigation and collect physical evidence.
