Elijah Riggan, 16, was shot and killed on May 21, 2021 on South Tryon Street Charlotte, NC.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at gas station on South Tryon Street. When they arrived, officers located Elijah with an apparent gunshot wound.
Elijah was pronounced deceased on the scene by emergency medics. This was not a random act of violence, however no suspect has been arrested.
OTHER TEENAGE HOMICIDES
Khalil Sifford, 16, was shot in the head at a party in 2021.
Shamareon McKinney, 15, was killed on April 10, 2021 in Charlotte, NC.
Marcqueon Goodman, 16, was shot on April 28, 2021 at apartments.
Alysha Johnson, 17, was shot and killed in west Charlotte, NC during an alleged robbery.
