On January 11, 2022 two people were killed on I-485 at the Rea Road exit in Charlotte, NC during a wreck. The fatal crash involved multiple vehicles.
There were 3 victims total. 2 of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
I-485 was shut down for hours due to the crash. One person was killed near Interstate 485 and 3 people were seriously injured in a wreck last month.
