On June 18, 2020 the United States Supreme Court ruled that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program otherwise known as DACA will stay in effect. Hence defying President Trump’s ambitions to annihilate the DACA program. In a 5-4 decision authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, the Supreme Court ruled that President Donald Trump unlawfully tried to eliminate DACA.
DACA allows the children of illegal immigrants to remain in the United States if they were under 16 when their parents brought them to the U.S. and if they arrived by 2007.
DACA allows undocumented immigrants to work legally in the United States. Now, DACA will continue to keep nearly 650,000 young undocumented immigrants safe from deportation.

These horrible & politically charged decisions coming out of the Supreme Court are shotgun blasts into the face of people that are proud to call themselves Republicans or Conservatives. We need more Justices or we will lose our 2nd Amendment & everything else. Vote Trump 2020!
The Department of Homeland Security released the following statements regarding the Supreme Court decision on DACA:
“DACA recipients deserve closure and finality surrounding their status here in the U.S. Unfortunately, today’s Supreme Court decision fails to provide that certainty. The DACA program was created out of thin air and implemented illegally. The American people deserve to have the Nation’s laws faithfully executed as written by their representatives in Congress—not based on the arbitrary decisions of a past Administration. This ruling usurps the clear authority of the Executive Branch to end unlawful programs.”
