26-year-old Alexus Blackburn died from cocaine, morphine, and ethanol toxicity. Alexus also had codeine in her system, also known in rap songs as “purp” “sizzurppp” and “lean”. Alexus was found dead and naked in a home on Rocket Ct. in Raleigh, NC in July 2023.
Alexus had been out drinking with her female fiancee, they got home in the early hours of July 29th and had even more drinks. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram now.
Alexus and her fiancee began arguing, at which point Alexus then took morphine. Alexus called a family member and told her she could not move due to the morphine intake.
Alexus then vomited on the bathroom floor, she then went to bed for the night.
In the morning, Alexus was found in her bed supine, unresponsive, and not breathing. Alexus was fully nude and had nipple piercings. Alexus also had 40 inch long hair braids at her time of death. 911 was called and Alexus was pronounced deceased.
Alexus had foam coming from her mouth, she also had bloody froth coming from her nares. At the time of death Alexus was in moderate rigor with posterior lividity.
Alexus was placed in a body bag and sent to a morgue. Postmortem toxicological analysis revealed that Alexus died from cocaine, morphine, and ethanol toxicity. Codeine was found in her blood stream. All of which can be a deadly combination.
Many rap songs have highlighted the popularity of codeine and mixing it with a cocktail of drugs, often called “purp” “sizzurppp” and “lean”. A song was made by the rap group Project Pak titled “Sippin of some sizurppp”.
Alexus ran a balloon events business.
