Gabrielle died on January 13, 2023, she had difficulty breathing at her residence. Gabrielle fell into cardiac arrest. Gabrielle was taken to the hospital emergency room, where she was pronounced deceased at time of arrival.
Gabrielle had 23 ml of Fentanyl in her bodily system. Gabrielle had past episodes of anxiety, anemia, and a unspecified heart issue.
Gabrielle reportedly was sending text messages to family indicating she will die. Fentanyl is responsible for many deaths in and around Charlotte.
In calendar year 2023, the DEA seized more than 77 million fentanyl pills and nearly 12,000 pounds of fentanyl powder. This is the most fentanyl seized by the DEA in a single year.
It amounts to more than 386 million deadly doses of fentanyl—enough to kill every American.
Fentanyl remains the deadliest drug threat facing this nation. In 2021, a record number of Americans – 107,622 – died from a drug poisoning or overdose. Fentanyl is deadly and highly addictive.
