TRIPLE HOMICIDE ON BEATTIES FORD ROAD DURING VIOLENT SHOOTING

A third victim in the chaotic shootout on Beatties Ford Road has been confirmed dead. Jamaa Cassell, 39, died on June 22, 2020 hours after several people were shot and ran over during a historic celebration in Charlotte, NC on Beatties Ford Road.

The first two to be killed in the Beatties Ford Road shooting were Kelly Miller, 29, and Christopher Gleaton, 28.

8 people were shot and 2 people were killed. As the celebration was in progress several shots rang out into the crowd.

Jamaa was injured during the deadly melee and was initially rushed to the hospital, Jamaa eventually died.

Kelly was found shot lying in the roadway on Beatties Ford Road. Kelly was pronounced deceased on the scene by medics.

Christopher was transported to the hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries and he was pronounced deceased at the hospital a short time later.
