On Memorial Day weekend 2022 a child was shot. The shooting was on May 29, 2022 on 1st Run Ct. Charlotte, NC.
Garreath Bickham, 35, was shot and killed on Memorial Day weekend 2022.
At 5:35 p.m. officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival officers located a juvenile victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital to be treated.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation along with Crime Scene Search.
Representatives of the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Homicide Prosecution Team also was present.
No arrests have been made.
