Hakim Eads, 19, has been charged with the Charlotte, NC murder of Dekoven Ware, 18. Hakim was arrested on July 29, 2021.
Dekoven was shot and killed on July 7, 2021 during a double shooting in Charlotte, NC.
The shooting was at a residence on Turtle Neck Lane. A suspect shot two victims multiple times. Dekoven was pronounced deceased on scene. The second victim received treatment at a hospital.
Upon investigation, Hakim was arrested and charged with murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
