On November 12, 2021 Isiah Williamson, 25, was charged with the murder of 42-year-old Lester Acevedo on West Sugar Creek Charlotte, NC. Lazaria Hamilton, 20, was charged with accessory after the fact for the murder.
On November 8, 2021 at 11 p.m. Mr. Acevedo was robbed on Merlane Drive and he was also shot. The victim was able to drive to a gas station on West Sugar Creek upon the shooting, where he got help and 911 emergency treatment.
Mr. Acevedo was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Isiah was arrested and charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and firearm by a felon.
