An armed suspect fired shots at cops in Houston, Texas. Newly released video shows the violent encounter. The shooting was at 2 p.m. on December 10, 2021. The suspect is identified as Marc Anthony Limon, 26.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Marc due to a family disturbance that occurred earlier in the day.
Marc refused to stop and fled from officers. Officers initiated a vehicle pursuit. Marc then exited his vehicle armed with a shotgun and fired several shots at the officers.
Fearing for their lives, the frightened cops returned fire and Marc was struck. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Marc to the hospital. No cops were shot in the wild shooting, but their police vehicles were heavily damaged with bullet holes.
Marc was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault of a police officer.
