SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER FATHER OF 5 KIDS MURDERED IN UPTOWN CHARLOTTE

39-year-old Corey Livingston was arrested on December 4, 2024 charged with the murder of Jamario Caldwell, 32. The victim was killed at the intersection of North Davidson Street and East 12th Street in Charlotte, NC.

Jamario was murdered in a broad day time shooting on October 8, 2024 in uptown Charlotte. At 9:10 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on Winding Path Way. 

Upon arrival, officers located an unoccupied vehicle and multiple shell casings. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

A short time later, Jamario was shot and killed near the intersection of North Davidson Street and East 12th Street. The two shootings are connected.

Corey was arrested in Maryland in November 2024, but he was just extradited to Mecklenburg County this week. Jamario was a father with 5 children.
