Two teenagers were shot on March 15, 2022 on Baltimore Avenue Charlotte, NC. One of the teens was killed in the double shooting.
At approximately 6:16 pm, officers responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival officers located two juvenile victims each suffering from gun-shot wounds. Medic transported the victims to an area hospital where one of the victims was pronounced deceased.
The second victim is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
A member of the Mecklenburg County District Attorney Homicide Prosecution Team responded to the scene.
