35-year-old Shonniel Blackburn was shot and killed on June 13, 2022 in Hickory, NC. Shonniel was a father of 5 kids.
The shooting was a 1 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Heights apartments. Shonniel was on the way to pick up his kids, and then a suspect fired multiple shots, hitting Shonniel several times.
The suspect fled, and Shonniel was left for dead. 911 was called and Shonniel was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
No arrests have been made.
