Detectives from the Gastonia Police Department have charged 55-year-old Kevin Mosby with the murder of 48-year-old Donald Watts that occurred on August 3, 2022 in Gastonia, NC.
Upon arrival, officers located Donald deceased inside the home. Preliminary investigation indicates that Donald was stabbed.
During the investigation, detectives identified Kevin as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On August 18, 2022 Kevin was arrested at a Gastonia hotel without incident.
Kevin is charged with first degree murder. He is being held without bond.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Donald’s murder.
