Launice Battle, 29, was arrested on August 28, 2022 charged with murdering her two daughters 3-year-old Trinity Michelle Milbourne and 2-year-old Amora Lou Milbourne in Raleigh, NC.
The children were left in a hot car on August 27, 2022. Launice is accused of walking away from the vehicle and leaving the kids inside with no air conditioning and the windows up.
A concerned citizen saw the children in the hot car and called 911. Responders broke the windows to get the kids out and to the hospital. However, both Trinity and Amora died from heat exhaustion.
Launice was arrested the next day at the hospital and charged with murder. Specifics on the situation remain unknown for now.
