Charges have been filed against Bolanle Fadairo, 38, he is charged in the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man and the victim’s 2-year-old son that occurred in Houston, Texas on September 20, 2022.
The adult victim was shot in the parking lot of a business at 1:45 p.m. allegedly by Bolanle. The victim reportedly owed Bolanle money.
Bolanle is accused of taking the victim’s vehicle while the victim’s 2-year-old child was in the back seat, all while the victim lay dead in the parking lot. Officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of the business and found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.Investigators learned the victim met Bolanle at the location and the two spoke briefly before he then shot the victim. About 6:35 p.m., a woman called cops to report her husband and 2-year-old son were missing. She provided her husband’s vehicle information and officers found the vehicle on Elm Street about 7:10 p.m.
Officers broke the vehicle’s window and found the 2-year-old victim unresponsive inside. Officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics immediately rendered first aid however the child was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The child died from heat exhaustion. Further investigation identified Bolanle Fadairo as the suspect in this case. At about 4 a.m. on Sept. 21, 2022 Bolanle was subsequently charged with two counts of murder and one count of tampering with evidence.
