LATINO MAN KILLED IN LATE NIGHT SHOOTING

Ever-Danilo Gonzales-Avila, 21, was shot and killed on October 9, 2022 on Eastway Drive Charlotte, NC. The shooting has now been ruled a justified homicide.

The deadly shooting was at 1:45 a.m. There was a report of a robbery at a residence. The alleged robbery victim shot Mr. Avila.

Mr. Avila died at the scene.

This case was first classified as a homicide. But cops gathered information that led to a victim being robbed. The Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office came to the decision that the shooting death was justified.

Officials determined not to arrest anyone in this case.
