LITTLE GIRL SHOT AND KILLED ON NEW YEAR’S DAY 2023

On the first day of 2023 a young girl was killed in a shooting in Charlotte

A young girl identified as Lyric Thomas, 5, lost her life in a shooting on January 1, 2023. The girl was shot and killed on Moretz Ave. Charlotte, NC.

Name: Lyric Thomas (Girl shot and killed on Near Year’s Day)

Lyric was shot at 12:20 a.m. just after 2023 began at a residence. 911 was called and the girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is underway. Details are still scarce at the moment.

More information will be available later.

Another person was killed on North Sharon Amity Road during a fiery vehicle collision.

Also on New Year’s Day around 3 a.m. a victim was murdered near North Tryon Street in Charlotte.
