46-year-old Athalia Crayton was shot and killed along with her 3 kids on January 7, 2023 in High Point, NC. Athalia’s husband Robert Crayton is accused of killing his wife and the 3 kids, and then committing suicide by shooting himself in the head.
Around 7 a.m. several gunshots were heard along with screams from a home in High Point. 911 was called and officers found Athalia shot dead, along with 3 of her kids that were also shot dead.
Robert was found shot dead also.
Authorities say Robert shot and killed Athalia, while then also shooting and killing the 3 kids. Cops say Robert then killed himself via a self inflicted gunshot to the head. A 4th child in the home was able to escape the shootings and get help.
