Joyonna Pearsall, 15, was shot and killed on April 12, 2023 in Goldsboro, NC.
Joyonna was attending a spring break pool party when two men began arguing and gunfire erupted. Joyonna was an innocent bystander and was shot by an inadvertent bullet.
6 other people were shot at the party too. Paramedics arrived on scene and took the injured to the hospital.
Joyonna died on the scene. She was just in the 10th grade. No arrests have been made.
