Antwan Rivers, 33, was arrested on November 15, 2023 accused of stealing from a Gap Store in Charlotte, NC. Eddie Mobley, 21, was also arrested on November 15, 2023, Eddie was accused of stealing from the Ulta Beauty on Rea Road in Charlotte. Charlotte Alerts is now on Instagram.
On Nov. 15th officers were conducting a larceny operation at the Charlotte Premium Outlets. Officers were alerted by loss prevention for the Gap Factory/Gap Inc in reference to a suspect removing anti-shoplifting sensors from merchandise.
After removing the anti shoplifting sensors, the suspect took 30 items of GAP Brand clothing valued at $943.70 past all points of sale without paying for the merchandise.
Loss prevention followed the suspect until uniformed officers arrived. The suspect fled from the scene from officers after the confirmed theft.
A few hours later cops arrested Antwan and recovered the Gap clothing. Antwan allegedly had marijuana in his pocket-book. He is charged with felony larceny and marijuana possession.Eddie was arrested on November 15th charged with felony larceny also. Eddie is accused of entering an Ulta Beauty store and taking merchandise including DIOR and hair care products. Eddie allegedly then walked out of Ulta Beauty without paying for the products.
