Kati had several mixed drinks at a party. Kati began driving and she drove the wrong way on the busy I-277 during the night time hours on October 18th. The 2 female victims were in a separate vehicle.
Kati was driving the wrong way on I-277 for miles with her lights off. Kati then drove directly into the vehicle the black female drivers were in head on.
The female victims died on impact. Several other vehicles were hit in the crash and other occupants of those vehicles were injured, but did not die.
Kati did not die and was arrested charged with DWI and murder. Kati admitted to having mixed alcoholic drinks earlier.
The dead female victims were visiting from South Carolina.
