Video: A pastor died after a cross falls on him during church in front of congregants. God got mad and made the cross fall. God is not playing
Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari died during church service on October 18, 2026 in Ecuador. Patricio was the pastor at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in the Central Vicariate, Ecuador. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Pastor Molinari was preaching in the pulpit in front of a audience. God got mad and made the cross of Jesus Christ come tumbling down right onto Pastor Molinari’s head. Similar to how the walls of Jericho fell in the Bible.
Pastor Molinari died instantly. Members of the church congregation began to scream and run to help get the cross of Jesus off of the pastor. No foul play is suspected, but it is not known what made the heavy cross fall on the pastor.
The Archdiocese of Guayaquil on Sunday confirmed that Father Molinari had died in a post on social media which said:
“We announce that our beloved Fr. Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, CSsR., who served as parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in the Central Vicariate, has departed for the Father’s House to rejoice in His presence and glory.”
