Frustrated with life and the way things are going, James Gulley took matters into his own hands and shot himself in the head dead during an obvious suicide. Days before death James said “Dude I gotta stop this shit or I’m gonna end up dead”
James Gulley, 34, died by suicide on September 8, 2026 on Park Road in Charlotte, NC in the woods. James played soccer at University of Tulsa and also played professionally in Sweden. In August 2026 just days before his death, James said “Dude I gotta stop this shit or I’m gonna end up dead” as he recounted when he overdosed on fentanyl in the past. The fentanyl overdose sent him to the emergency room incapacitated for days.
After the drug overdose James began to use fitness as an outlet. But James still dealt with suicidal ideations. On September 8, 2026 James shot himself in the head on Park Road Charlotte, NC near a wood line.
James died via suicide. The shooting alerted multiple people and caused fear.
