Floyd Long, 45, was arrested on August 15, 2026 charged with murdering Shaquina Harris in Charlotte, NC. Shaquina had been missing since the 4th of July holiday in 2026.
Shaquina went missing on July 4, 2026. She was last seen on a Facetime video call with a family member. Also she was seen leaving Atrium Hospital in uptown Charlotte. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
After over a month of being missing, Shaquina was found dead on August 15, 2026 in Charlotte, NC in a heavily wooded area. Shaquina had many chest tattoos that were mushy and hard to read when she was found dead, as her body was decomposing and experiencing skin slippage.
Shaquina’s body was being eaten by rats and other wild animals. On August 15th Floyd was arrested charged with murder. Floyd is also accused of stealing the victim’s dog.
Several black people have been found dead in the woods lately.
