MAN ACCUSED OF MURDERING MISSING WOMAN, BODY NEVER FOUND

A man is charged with killing a woman that has been missing for weeks, but her body was never found

36-year-old Derrick Randall is accused of murdering Brandi Merrick, 37. The victim had been missing for weeks. Derrick was arrested on July 31, 2026.

On June 12, 2026 Brandi was reported missing, she was last seen on Abercromby Street in Charlotte. Despite continued efforts she was never located.

During the course of the investigation, Missing Persons detectives in collaboration with Homicide Unit detectives obtained evidence to identify Derrick as a suspect.

Derrick was arrested on July 31, 2026 charged with Brandi’s murder. There is no indication as to what evidence exist that Brandi was murdered since her body was never recovered, and there is no indication as to what evidence police “obtained” to make Derrick a suspect.

Good lawyers get murder charges like this dismissed.
