A deadly shooting occurred on Fairwood Ave. Charlotte, NC. The homicide was on March 9, 2024. At 7 p.m., a male victim was shot. However, 911 calls came in and said that the victim was suspected of having an overdose.
Medics arrived and was in the process of transporting the victim to the hospital, it was then that medics realized the victim was shot.
Hence, the medics had to change their treatment levels for the victim, but the victim died before ever arriving at the hospital.
