Jorge Carranza was shot and killed at the Patio Night Club
Jorge Dorantes Carranza, 32, was murdered at Patio Nightclub on March 22, 2026 in Raleigh, NC during a double shooting. Jorge leaves behind a 13-year-old daughter. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Hundreds of party goers were at the Patio Club dancing and drinking liquor. A dispute evolved into a fight. Gunshots were fired, striking Jorge and another victim.
Crowds of people ran from the scene and jumped to the floor. Jorge had blood all over his body. The shooters fled and have not been arrested.
Club goers on scene took off Jorge’s shirt and tried to keep him alive, but he died when EMS arrived. The other shot victim was transported to the hospital and survived.
Now the ABC board will likely issue fines and revoke the liquor license of Patio Night Club.
