Thomas Cartee, 25, pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter after Jahlen Mcdonald, 25, was shot and killed in Charlotte, NC.
Jahlen was shot and killed on May 31, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. Jahlen was shot dead at a house on Broken Pine Lane. At midnight officers responded to gun shots fired.
Jahlen was found with wounds and pronounced deceased on scene. Thomas was arrested charged with murder and robbery. Thomas took a plea deal with prosecutors to admit to a manslaughter charge in exchange for 51-74 months in prison.
