Tyanna Hendricks, 20, was arrested on January 27, 2026 accused of assaulting her room mate Kayla in Charlotte, NC at apartments near UNC Charlotte. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Kayla went inside her room and locked the door. Tyanna is accused of banging on the door and knocking it open forcefully. Tyanna entered Kayla’s room yelling with a knife and pepper spray. Tyanna began demanding that Kayla return a phone charger that belonged to Tyanna.
Tyanna is accused of jumping on top of Kayla while on a bed. Tyanna is then accused of biting Kayla on her leg. Tyanna claims that Kayla hit her in the head with a glass mirror.
Cops were called and Tyanna was arrested due to bite marks seen on Kayla’s leg. The girls live together and have called the police on each other 7 times over the past 6 months.
Tyanna was arrested charged with simple assault and domestic violence.
