YOUNG MAN ACCUSED OF MURDERING TEENAGER IN CHARLOTTE

In January 2025 Jaylon Reaves, 20, was arrested charged with the murder of Aryan Jaswal, 17. The victim was murdered in Charlotte, NC. 

Aryan was shot and killed on August 13, 2024 in Charlotte, NC at apartments on Wynhollow Downs Lane.

Aryan was shot dead inside a vehicle at 8:00 a.m. Shots were heard and officers responded to a wellness check 911 call. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim inside of the vehicle.

Aryan died on scene. On January 17, 2024 Jaylon was arrested in Mullins, SC charged with the murder. He was extradited to Charlotte and arrested locally on January 21, 2024 with the assistance of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Tyquan Paige, 18, was also arrested in South Carolina charged with the murder of Aryan, he has not yet been extradited to Charlotte.
