Video shows a victim being murdered on Facebook Live, the suspects said, “Where the money at” then shots were fired
45-year-old Carl Melvin was murdered on a Facebook Live video on December 30, 2025 in Florida City, Florida. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Carl was at his residence with others on Dec. 30th when armed suspects entered the home wearing masks and demanded money from the victims.
The suspects are heard asking “Where the money at” When no cash was given, the suspects fired multiple shots hitting Carl and another man in the home.
The suspects fled. Carl died on scene, the second victim was taken to the hospital and survived. Click here to see more home invasions.
Christopher Hankerson, 36, and Roderick Terrell Everett, 34, were arrested on January 13, 2026 charged with first degree murder, home invasion, and attempted first degree murder with a deadly weapon.
