The ex-wife of 45-year-old Jamal Dade is accused of murdering him in a violent shooting in the parking lot of the Embassy Suites hotel on South Tryon St. Charlotte, NC that occurred on April 19, 2024. Shemeka Dade, 41, was arrested charged with murder. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Jamal and Shemeka were married for years. They even had children together. But things got bitter and the married couple grew apart.
In 2020 Jamal said Shemeka was a headache to him. Also in 2023 Jamal was arrested accused of assault on a female.
And in 2024 Jamal and Shemeka called it quits and got a divorce. Just 10 days after the divorce, Jamal ended up dead.
Shemeka is the accused shooter. Jamal was taken to the hospital by paramedics, but he died on arrival.
Shemeka was arrested and charged with murder. It is not clear who will take care of the couple’s kids.
