Jevon Battle is the dead man that was found floating in a lake
On November 10, 2025 Jevon Battle, 31, was found dead in a lake in Rocky Mount, NC.
Jevon had been missing since November 3, 2025. Emergency personnel and police conducted extensive searches of the surrounding area utilizing search teams, drones, and K9 units.
Investigators also canvased multiple locations and residences in an attempt to locate Mr. Battle but were unsuccessful. Lake deaths are fairly common.
But on November 10th a body was seen floating near the Rocky Mount Mills dam. Upon retrieval, the individual was positively identified as Jevon Battle.
The deceased has been transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Greenville, NC for an autopsy. It is not yet known if this was a murder or a suicide.
