Meta King was walking when she was hit by a Chevy Silverado truck
On September 15, 2025, Meta King, 65, was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Clanton Road Charlotte, NC.
At 3:14 p.m., Meta was walking when she was hit by a Chevy Silverado truck towing a trailer. Officers responded to the accident and found Meta unresponsive in the roadway.
The Chevrolet Silverado stopped and stayed at the scene. Meta was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the truck was screened for impairment and determined not to be impaired. Impairment is not suspected of Meta but toxicology results are pending.
