Sara Metcalf had a alcohol blood level over 2 times the legal limit, and was involved in crash
On November 1, 2025 Sara Metcalf, 27, was involved in a vehicle crash on South Kings Drive Charlotte, NC which led to a DWI arrest.
On November 1st at night time a car accident occurred. Upon arrival officers spoke with the
defendant Sara who stated that she was driving the Mazda CX-5 that wrecked and became disabled in the intersection.
Officers detected a moderate odor of alcohol on Sara’s breath, and she had red eyes. Sara reeked of liquor. DWI arrests are very common in Charlotte.
Sara stated that she had two glasses of wine about an hour prior to the wreck. Sara did not perform well on drunk tests on the scene.
Sara provided a breath sample and she had a 0.22 blood alcohol level, that is nearly 3 times the legal limit. Sara was then arrested charged with DWI.
