A 68-year-old man was shot dead at Food Lion on Graham St
James Martindale, 68, was shot and killed at Food Lion located on North Graham St. Charlotte, NC on October 18, 2025. 44-year-old Joshua Hasty was arrested accused of killing James.

The victim was at the Food Lion when he was shot multiple times, the victim died on scene. Several patrons at nearby restaurants and businesses heard the shots and ducked for cover.
Food Lion employees ran to the office and locked the door. 911 calls were made and cops were dispatched to the Food Lion.
Joshua was later arrested charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of firearm by felon. There is no word on what led to the shooting.
