Jeremy Mouzon, 44, was murdered on Redwood Avenue and the intersection on Sugar Creek in Charlotte, NC. Jeremy was killed on August 3, 2025. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 3:00 a.m., people broke into Jeremy’s residence and stole cash and products. Jeremy chased them and they stabbed him multiple times. Even as violent as Sugar Creek is, a woman just won $8 million in the lottery there in 2025.
The suspects then got in a vehicle and ran over Jeremy. The victim died on scene. No arrests have been made, and it is not known why Jeremy was targeted.
Murders on Sugar Creek are normal.
