Shannon Solomon, 36, and her one-year-old baby son were found dead on June 6, 2025 at the Baymont by Wyndham motel on Equipment Drive Charlotte, NC. The motel is near West Sugar Creek. A woman just won $8 million in the lottery on West Sugar Creek.

Shannon and her son were found dead in a motel room by staff workers at noon on June 6th. Tenants began to complain about a foul smell coming from the room, so maintenance checked it out.
The mother and baby were believed to of been dead in the motel for over 30 days. Their bodies were slightly decomposed. Shannon has a history of mental health issues, but no official cause of death has been released yet.
