Jahlen McDonald, 25, was shot and killed on May 31, 2025 in Charlotte, NC. Thomas Cartee, 24, is accused of murdering Jahlen. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Jahlen was shot dead at a house on Broken Pine Lane. At midnight officers responded to gun shots fired.
Jahlen was found with wounds and pronounced deceased on scene. As a result of the continued investigation and assistance from snitches, detectives identified Thomas as the suspect.
Thomas was arrested charged with murder and robbery.
