TEEN ARRESTED AFTER VICTIM MURDERED IN CHEAP MOTEL

Tyler Minor, 18, was arrested on May 14, 2025 accused of murdering Alvin Steele, 24, at the Loyalty Inn motel on Lucky Penny Street Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Alvin was murdered on May 12, 2025 around 6 p.m. Alvin was found dead in a motel room after being shot. Alvin was shot and covered by a bloody pillow.

Tyler was arrested 2 days later charged with murder. In 2021 Alvin was arrested, accused of shooting a little girl in the chest.

A little girl was shot in the chest during a drive-by shooting, Alvin was charged in the crime
