The twin brother of Darius Gillespie was killed, years later his brother was arrested

Tajiana Ingram, 24, Jayden Gillespie, 20, Emmanuel Luckey, 19, and Darius Gillespie, 26, were arrested on April 18, 2025 accused of robbing and assaulting a man during a fight in Charlotte, NC at Sugar Creek Park. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The park is located on West Sugar Creek Road, known for prostitution and drugs. The suspects were all in a car together when they arrived at the park. A fight began. The suspects are accused of pulling guns and knives during the fight and robbing a victim.

The suspects were arrested and charged with robbery and carrying concealed weapon. Darius Gillespie had a twin brother Demetrice Gillespie who was killed in 2019. The twins were even on the Ellen Show to sing in front of a live audience.
