Jonathan Case, 43, was arrested on February 21, 2025 accused of soliciting a 13-year-old girl for sex in a Target parking lot on Sam Furr Road Huntersville, NC. The teen girl was really a undercover cop pretending to chat. Jonathan’s wife is a leader at Primrose Schools, she was never charged with any crimes. Primrose Schools is a school for young children. Beginning in August of 2024, a undercover detective with the Huntersville Police Department began conducting an undercover investigation, the detective portrayed a 13 year old female on various online chat rooms known for exploitation of children.
During this time, Detective Smith began chatting with a male user and eventually transitioned the communication to text messaging.
The male user was texting the detective from a Google Voice VoIP number. Over the next 6 months, the user continually asked the detective persona to meet in person for sexual acts, according to warrants.
The suspect is accused of sending several digital images of his private urinal part. Various sex acts including bestiality, oral intercourse, regular intercourse, and being sexually involved with a niece of the suspect were all discussed allegedly by Jonathan, according to court documents.
The suspect is also accused of saying whether to use a condom on the teen girl persona and where he could sexually climax white bodily fluids on the girl. Click here to see more child sex crimes investigations.
A court order was issued and served to Google, Inc for subscriber information on the Google Voice number. Two verified email addresses and a verified telephone number were provided by Google.
The user was identified as Jonathan Case according to official documents. Various law enforcement databases also identified the suspect.
Eventually, the suspect and the undercover detective persona agreed to meet at the Target on Sam Furr Road Huntersville, North Carolina to have sex.
The suspect allegedly showed up at the Target on February 21, 2025. Cops then arrested the suspect. Jonathan is charged with solicit child by computer.
