The crash was at 3:30 a.m., at the intersection of Westinghouse Boulevard at Granite Street.
Renard was driving an Kia Sorento. A freightliner truck was making a left turn when Renard collided with the truck.
The truck’s cargo bed had extensive damage. Renard was located inside of the vehicle with serious injuries and later pronounced deceased. The driver of the 18 wheeler truck was not injured.
