TARGET EMPLOYEE ARRESTED, ACCUSED OF STEALING EXPENSIVE APPLE TECH

Tania Alvarenga-Velasquez, 21, was a Target employee at the 9531 South Blvd. Charlotte, NC location. Tania was arrested on January 7, 2020 and charged with larceny by employee.

A Home Depot employee was arrested this week too on larceny by employee charges.

Target says that on January 7, 2020 Tania took merchandise from the business entrusted to her by Target, Tania is accused of then carrying the merchandise away, without the consent of Target.

Target says that Tania was depriving the business of the merchandise permanently. Target alleges that Tania knew she was not entitled to the merchandise.

The merchandise allegedly included several boxes of Apple Air Pods, valued at over $400.

Tania was arrested and taken to jail intake.
