Jareem White, 46, was arrested on December 23, 2020 after being involved in a wreck that killed Satria Gleaton, 39, in Charlotte, NC.
The fatal motor vehicle collision occurred on East W. T. Harris Boulevard.
At 9:45 p.m. on December 23, 2020, Satria was driving a Toyota Avalon when she was struck in the driver’s side by Jareem who was driving a Nissan Xterra. Officials say Jareem was determined to be impaired and was operating the Nissan without a license.
The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital. Satria was pronounced deceased.
Jareem has since been released from the hospital, and is charged with felony death by motor vehicle, driving while impaired and driving while license revoked.
