The owner of a jewelry store was hit with a sledgehammer while thwarting a robbery at his store. On August 15 a black suspect quickly entered the store dressed in dark clothing and smashed a glass case that was full of jewelry.
The owner intervened and was able to push the suspect out of the store. That is when a second suspect appeared and hit the owner in the back with a sledgehammer.
The two suspects were able to get away in an awaiting car.
