On October 2, 2022, Satchel Bass, 35, was killed on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC at 4:43 a.m. Satchel was a father that had a little girl.
Satchel was killed in a motorcycle wreck. The preliminary investigation showed that Satchel was traveling on North Tryon St. allegedly at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle.
Satchel ran off the side of the road and crashed in a nearby parking lot. 911 emergency responders were called to the crash by oncoming drivers in traffic. Satchel died on the scene.
Upon arrival, officers located a damaged motorcycle. Investigators believe excessive speed is a contributing factor in this collision.
Impairment is unknown. There were no other vehicles involved.
